For as long as I can remember, my father would say “Wanao Fikru No”. The translation for this Amharic saying essentially means “The most important thing is love.” It reminds me to do everything in love and has helped me grounded myself in each chapter of my life. It has become a foundational piece of how I navigate uncertainty and novelty.
